Trailhead’s lands were once part of a working forest known as Galloway Lands, actively managed since 1945 and logged periodically until the early 1990s. What followed was regeneration—decades of natural recovery that restored the richness and diversity of the forest you see today.
That history remains part of the story, reflected in place names and subtle design cues. But the future is defined by something else: stewardship, care and a renewed relationship between people and land.
To commemorate the land’s history, Trailhead’s street names are drawn from horse logging tradition.
